Janice Scott
Bagpiper

Janice began her piping career at the age of 45 after hearing the band "Seven Nations." One Christmas she found a practice chanter and a set of Pakistani pipes under the tree. She began to search around for someone who could teach her how to play the chanter and pipes and found a local instructor, Al Delaney who provided her with the foundation she needed. In 2007 she bought her first "real" set of bagpipes and joined a local pipe band. She was fortunate to meet Tom Ryan who provided her with a higher level of instruction needed to play the bagpipes. Janice is looking forward to Claddagh Mhor’s growth as well as entering the competition circle.
