Larry is a new comer to the pipe and drum scene. After finishing a 34 year career as a firefighter in the Portland Fire Department he decided he wanted a new challenge. So, in 2009 he accepted an invitation from a friend to come to a rehearsal of the band and check things out. Within minutes he had sticks in his hands and was following along with the lesson. Larry became a member of Claddagh Mhor and is currently working to become a part of the drum corps.

When not drumming, Larry likes spending time in his gardens, working on his cars and going to his grandson’s games and his granddaughter’s dance competitions.
