Tunes

Composers have filled books with great music that bands haven’t put into their repertoire. That’s the music we want to play. It’s the traditional music that casual listeners and many pipers have either overlooked or forgotten about - or new music that’s fun to play and fun to listen to.

As new members join, we’ll play music familiar to them. As time goes on, we’ll all play the music that we’ve chosen as a band. Each tune will have its own drum score. Everyone will be learning something new.

Music we are playing / considering:

4/4 2/4
Stop Yer Ticklin’, Jock Sweet Maid of Glendaruel
I Love a Lassie Jenny's Bawbee
Roamin' in the Gloamin' Teribus
Drunken Duncan 3/4
City of Hastings Kilworth Hills
McCarthy Street Bloody Fields of Flanders
South Down Militia Height of Dargai
A Nation Once Again 6/8
  Colonel Robertson
  Heroes of Kohima
